Download Website - How To?

I want to download a website a boards thread actually, this one . Is there some application that would allow me to download the entire thread so I could have it stored for offline viewing.

Ideally I want the hyperlinks to be able to link all the ways from page one to the last page. Preferably a freeware application if possible. I read here once that someone was able to do this and downloaded the entire Komplett website. I could save every webpage individually but that would not give the linking to each page of the thread required.

    Any help is majorly appreciated

I was thinking of a program called Down Them All but realized its only for downloading images/links. If your using Firefox then check out their add ons section at their site and I'm sure there is something that fit your needs.

It might be easier for such a long thread to see if it's in the archives. You don't get all the graphics and other cr@p then .. just the content of the thread itself, plus it might all fit on one page if you're lucky, two at the most. If it's two, you could just join them up into one page using a normal text editor.

Just click on the "Archive" link on the bottom right hand corner of this page.

Wget can also do this for you, you just need to specify the number of links deep into a site you wish to go, and it will recursivly follow all the links from the start page and save them to a folder named after the domain name. Wget is open source and there is a windows version available.

You use it as follows from the command line:
    wget -r <number of levels deep> <url to thread on boards>

    Enjoy.

Thanks for that Alun it was in the archives and fitted in neatly at 2 pages.
