    These belts do actually work, i.e. they do stimulate the muscles. But they do not give you a crazy lean six pack like the guys on TV and there will be no spot reduction of fat. To get good abs you need a very low bodyfat level, no matter how big the abs are underneath.

    When I say they work, they do the job they were intended to do, i.e. rehabilitate patients in hospitals. I worked in a hospital and they were used. If you are in a coma or some other way debilitated they will reduce the effects of atrophy (muscle loss) due to the lack of use of the muscle. But they are feck all use for hypertrophy (muscle growth)

    You are better off buying a set of weight in argos and go on a diet.

    I heard bruce lee used to use them, dunno what for could have been a warm up/down or something
