Progressive Scan TV?

    Hi,

I'm not sure if this is exactly the right place to post this, but it seems the best match for it.

Now I know it's hardly cutting edge, but I was given a gift of a 21' Philips CRT TV for my birthday, model: 21PT1557/05

Now what I was wondering would this TV support progressive scan through an RGB SCART cable? Or is it just capable of standard interlaced picture?

Thanks for taking the time to read this and for any help you can offer. :)

From my understanding, scart only carries interlaced signal. You need component or HDMI for progressive.

crts in almost all cases will not do progressive, you'll need a digital display for that

you can using a rgb scart for progressive if both devices support component over scart etc
