Broadband problem......i Think?

    hey all,
    I went home for christmas to return back to my apartment a week later and foun that my flat mate disconnected my pc from the router.
    Im having problems connecting to the net nnow tho, i done an ip check and everything seems to be going fine. My computer is sending info out but im not recieving any back? Anyone know how to fix this?
    Any help would be great.

    Run > cmd > ipconfig

    What does it say?

    Run > cmd > ping www.boards.ie

    run a tracert to a known public address such as the ip of the eircom dns server.

    Would your flatmate have been messing with the pc and changed any of your settings or downloaded some spyware maybe?

    Nah he would'nt have been messing with anything, probably needed the leed or something.
    Anyway it seems to be running fine now, if not faster lol. Dunno what happened, just started to work ok again! Sweet.
