    Hey all,

I have just purchased the 32" LCD HD Tesco special offer.

Want to get a 360 to start gaming on it.

As its my first console since a ps2 a few years i was wondering if anyone could point me out in the right direction or provide a link if possible?

Just wondering of the different options of xbox, hard drive , hddvd drive ect.
Also do i need a different cable to make use of the hd quality?

Sorry if the questions are too simple!!

If you buy the premium pack then you get all of what you need with it.
There are some deals about at the minute so im sure you will get the best one for you. I hope this helps :)

the true main diffference is the hard drive, which is 100eur anyway... and is a must have, so the core is really pointless and was only ever bought when the premium was in short supply.

I just bought one last week. Game have the premium pack + Project Gotham Racing + Viva Pinata + Arcade Pack + extra controller (2 in total) for 410 Euro. Apparantly XtraVision have a pack for a similar price but they seemed to be sold out in any shop I tried. I think that's pretty much the cheapest premium pack around at the moment.

Viva Pinata, Xbox360 Game of the Year as far as I'm concerned. What luck getting it in a bundle!

I got the premium 360, PGR3, Gears of War, the Arcade game, Perfect Dark collectors edition and an extra controller last night for €409.99 in extra vision.
Same tv and it looks amazing.

I would advise looking at adverts.ie. I picked up a barely used, mint condition Xbox 360 with 2 games for €310.
