    How do you delete a specific part of the waveform without it getting connected to the rest of the waveform? Its kinda like its in a permanent shuffle mode. Basically I want to delete say a segment in order to seperate the waveform into pieces which I can then move around.

    highlight part of wav
    go to
    edit/split.

    timeshift the wav to desired location.

    thanks I didnt notice it goes downward as opposed to horizontal, bit different from pro tools Ill warrant
