Hi all, can anyone recommend a mechanic or a garage in Dublin that I can brin a 2001 CBR600F4i in for a service and some other minor cosmetic work? My old garage is closed down and the last place I brought it to for a service was a disaster, thanks for the help

ninja900 can recommend someone, he and I both had CBR600 F2's, but he's in Dublin, and I'm in Cork.

I highly recommend Scott's bikes on upper Dorset st. It is where the old celtic motorcycles used to be. The owner is Italien and used to work in Megabikes, he has worked on my bikes from my nsr80 up to and including my sv650 and has always done a fantastic job and at a reasonable rate. I wouldnt be happy with anybody else working on my bikes

I recommend Iggy & Dion at BMT. Dead sound and good value. They are mostly known for their tyres but Dion is a proper mechanic and knows what he's about.

    I'd an F3 ackshurely :D

Used to get it serviced (major services with valve checks - did the minor ones myself) at RPM but they're long gone. The last service it got before I sold it was done at Cotters in Kimmage but they've moved since and I don't know if they have a workshop at their new place.
Since I sold the CBR I imported a GPz900R which has screw and locknut valves, a DIY job :) so it's never had to see a mechanic since I got it.
Have a Triumph now as well which is due a service, unsure whether to go to Bikeworld or look elsewhere. Actually Bikeworld said they were too busy when I rang them a while back and I could get it done 'anywhere' - wonder what Triumph would make of that!

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.
