So, what would you like during 2007 GAA wise?

For me, a Leinster would be great for Laois :)

An All Ireland Junior for my Dad's club would be fantastic! Already Leinster Champs.

I'd hope that Galway can finally win Liam McCarthy. I don't mind where the footballers finish up, but I'd love to see the hurlers win the All-Ireland.

If not Galway (hurling) I would like to see either Limerick or Waterford win it - just to end the Cork-KK dominance.

To beat Down and Monaghan, then have a decent run in the qualifiers and maybe finally make it to the new Croke Park. I think we are the only county that hasn't played in it.

3 in a row for the Dubs in Leinster of course!

On a less biased note, Tyrone to come back with a bang and put in a really good challenge for the All-Ireland (preferably by playing the great football they're capable of and not by dirty tactics).

BUT someone besides Tyrone or Kerry to win Sam. Preferably Dublin but I'd also like to see Armagh win a second, or a county outside the big three.

And last but not least, I really hope Mayo come back strong and don't go to pieces after last year's final, they deserve it especially after the way they beat the Dubs last year.

Hurling: a county other than Cork or Kilkenny

Like Kaimera, a Leinster for Laois would be great. But lately in the county I get the feeling that a good year wouldn't be complete without reaching at least the All-Ireland semi's..

On a more personal level, i hope that Park/Ratheniska go on to win the Junior Club All-Ireland. It would be a magnificent achievement for such a small club, and would be a terrific end to a season which has seen promotion back to Intermediate status and a Leinster Trophy.
And now that the club has gone up a grade, I would like them to do themselves proud at the new grade, and acquit themselves well. There is no-one to fear in that Championship.

Well, I'd like to see anyone but Kilkenny, Cork and Tipperary win the Hurling Final. Galway, Waterford, Limerick, anyone but the big 3.

In football, well as a Dub, there is no need to ask. Outside of that, anyone bar Kerry, even Meath! I'd love to see Mayo win again, or Tyrone or...! I could go on, with the exception of course of Kerry.

Donegal have to beat Armagh sometime and pleeeeaaasssseeee let it happen in Ballybofey in the Championship this summer. After that, an Ulster title would be nice followed by a few days in Croke Park.

Well I'd definitely be happy with a Leinster for Laois! I think it's very possible this year.
In the Laois championship, Arles/Killeen to go one better this year.

firstly roscommon to have a decent season,to get promoted from division 2 and have a reasonable run in the championship.
not sure if you can really look beyond tyrone/kerry/armagh for sam but id like to see one or two teams add theyre names to the list of realistic contenders.

in hurling id like to see galway go all the way, although with ger loughnane in charge it mightnt be the easiest thing to witness as it could be a season of "everybody is against us" tactics

ultimately id love the season to go by without reading of any major acts of tuggery and assault on any player in the games.....is that too much to ask for?

I think it the right attitude for the Galway lads. With no competition out west it decends into internal warfare in Galway very year. It would be an improvememnt if they fought every other county instead of themselves.

    Unfortunately yes.

Personally Mayo to finally go all the way I would die happy if they did. Hopefully Johnno can work his magic.
And my own club, Shrule/Glencorrib to win the county championship. With Ballina, Crossmolina and Knockmore on the way down its time for new blood

Wicklow to get that all elusive Championship victory.(football)

Tipp to get further than Galway so as I can win a fiver. I hope for at least semi-finals All-Ireland(hurling)

And for my club, Ashford, to stay in the senior ranks in their first season back up there, and for the Junior team to win the League, in my first full season back with the club(football)

A trip to Croke Park in the Championship for Cavan supporters. We deserve it by now!

Wexford to reach the Leinster Football final (and hopefully win it)! Also promotion from division 2 must be a priority!

In the hurling a better showing, and hopefully we can find some new forwards!

Another Leinster for Dublin and for Dublin to get into the final which I think is a very real prospect given that each year, the Dubs make more and more progress..

I think Cavan can get to the final of the Ulster title....yes you read it here.I was impressed by their performance against Derry but can they be consistent.

If Dublin don't win Leinster, hopefully Westmeath,Wicklow or Longford can step up to the plate.Limerick or Cork for Munster,Mayo for Connaught.

In hurling,I would like to see Galway or Wexford win the championship and for the Dubs to make more progress in the hurling.

Sligo to end their 32 year famine and return the Nestor cup to the Yeats County. That is all I want, just to end the agony. With seven players returning to the panel who opted out of our 2006 squad, you never know. :)

Cork to win in the hurling again :D

Ah no but I have to say that! If not it would be nice for Galway to win.

Football wise...anyone but Kerry...or Dublin....I'd like to see Tyrone win again.

Kerry to claim back the munster championship from cork and to get the 2-in-a-row (although i can't see it happening to be honest). If not kerry then i'd like to see mayo, laois or someone new (not cork though) win sam. Also would like to see wicklow win a championship game and maybe even get a good run at the qualifiers. Also would like to see the likes of louth and longford make progress on there good form last year.

on the Hurling front as with most people i would like to see someone other that cork and kilkenny to win liam, maybe waterford or galway. Also someone other than cork and kilkenny to win munster and leinster. would like to see kerry do well in div 2 league and maybe win the christy ring cup.

a lot of wishs but maybe a few will come true.

For me it's the two best teams win both the Hurling and Football Championships... whether that be Kerry and Cork/Kilkenny so be it.

For an underdog to surprise us all and win the All Ireland.
For Wicklow to do well under Micko.
For Cavan, Monaghan or Down to win Ulster
For London to have a good league run
For Galway to win the hurling
For the Tommy Murphy cup to be ended
For Antrim to return to being a "championship contender"
For St. Brigids to win the club championship on Paddys Day
