Sorry for this double post (well sort of double post)

Does anyone know what extra stuff is needed for a Sky HD install. I already have a quad LNB. Is there a special LNB needed. I am trying to see what is needed to purchase a Sky HD box on ebay and just buy the subscription. Does anyone know if the card changes?

    Hi
would not think you need a new card.
sounds like you have everything Dish,Quad Lnb,Sky Hd box and card.

A new install from Sky is subsidised and has a one year G'tee. An eBay Sky HD box is not yet likely to be cheap nor have any G'tee.

    Watty,
I realise that, but my problem is the phone line. I only have a VOIP connection and Sky won't come near me with it. If I do it myself I can periodically bring it to a line to keep them happy. The same thing happened to me when I originally got Sky about 4 years ago. Expect that time the installation engineer told me it only needed to be connected to a phone line during the initial install and if Sky ever asked to just plug it back in for a couple of days.
