    Hey.

Forgive me if im asking in the wrong forum, I thought Photography would be most appropriate as it is the topic I want to ask my questions on :). Please do move if I have posted in the wrong place tho. Cheers :)

Anyway, is there any technology out there that is able to pick up photos from the old fashioned cameras which places pictures on the film? Technology that would be used in the home, not for a factory or shop. I was just wondering if the technology was out there and wasnt that expensive - not only could I print my photos from my digital cameras but also from any disposible camera?

Also, for packaging of printed photos. Shops have their own little "photo sleves" where they put all the photos in a packet, are there any similar packages out there for home users? I dont always put photos into frames or albums.. so these photo sleves would come in handy!

Many Thanks in advance for your help :)

The machines used for developing are quite large, awkward and pricy. You would really need to set up a dark room to develop... I think that's what you mean?

The alternative is you get a shop to develop your film, and get a decent scanner and scan them yourself.

Sleeves...You could pretty much use envelopes, folders with plastic sleeves etc. Hope that's all what you meant.

Taking a guess here, but might a negative scanner help?

Thought so. I was just wondering if there were any machines that were not as awkward! Its only for home use, so I guess for films ill get them done in the shop!

Ya, but is there anyway of getting the ones like the shops have? Or similar?

Ah cheers for that tip. Just looking into it now.. seems to be affordable from what I read. Dont suppose you know any good sites that offer this?
