It's not often I get GAS for a bass, but holy bejebus, look what the man has for sale now:

An Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray 5 String!

    He's also got a 4 string one:

...nice... I prefer the 5 String myself though, looks incredibly swish.

In my humble opinion, Music Man basses are some of the finest in this world.

Try a Bacchus. Half the price and probably twice as good. Plus the trans-black one is spooge worthy.

Nah, I'm not actually going to be buying any basses, it's just that I've a thing for Musicman ones, and those are some seriously nice ones. I would love to check out the Doc's Bacchus though, I've heard many a good thing.

tbh i think the 4 string one looks much nicer, the shape of the pickguard on the 5 string just doesn't do it for me as the pickguard on the 4 string one.

that being said, they are amazing basses.

i ain't a bass man myself, but what is the little back door looking kind of thing on the back of those basses?

You'll get em cheaper in the classifieds on Talkbass. Great basses, but their narrow string spacing on the 5ers means any GAS is always temporary.
