sky card problem

tonight no channels except a message which was along the lines of "there is a problem with your card please ring sky for assistance". took out card gave it a wipe , area around chip looks brownish. put card back in and it worked ok. anyone else ever have this problem?

Can happen from time to time. But a quick wipe and stick it back in, and it should work fine afterwards.
