This is my first C&C post. Go easy on me ;)

I've been taking photos with regular digital point and shoot cameras for a few years, but got my first DSLR (a 400d) in October.

Decided to take some shots of some candles before they went into the attic till next Christmas. Used a tripod and cable release with most, lit with candles and a torch in some. All unprocessed - exactly as taken.

    Link to my Flickr set.

    Thanks in advance.

*edit* oh - and feel free to comment here/on flickr/both, and add me to your contacts too if you so wish :)

Jaysus, didn't actually see this til now.

    Also, hey Ragorder!!!

I think there's some really good ideas there, and some well executed shots. Would you consider putting them into black and white though? Or maybe give them a cross processed look? Just to bring them a step out of the ordinary?

thanks for the feedback guys. fajitas - yes I need to do some more post processing. I have a tendency to accept whatever the camera produces, and need to learn a few more photoshop skills. a resolution for 2007 ;)

happy new year all. keep up the great work !
