what resolution should a pic be? i need to submit it at 350 dpi, so is that just a case of it being at any resolution and me saving it at that setting? or is there an optimal rate , or am i way off?

    thanks

350dpi (dots per INCH) means NOTHING without a size in inches next to it. it refers to a resolution per inch so if there's no inch size it is meaningless

if you're printing it, sending it for publication etc, you can have photoshop etc change the dpi without changing the number of pixels (resampling) so just do that if someone is insisting it be 350dpi
