There are a few things that are stopping the wow factor on this.

    1. overexposed on the clouds - there are a few blown patches. Is it raw? Can you try drop the exposure?

    2. Cold. It's very cold looking (perhaps that what you wanted). If not, try warming it a little.

    3. Focal point. My eye is popping between the windows on the building, and the cranes.

    4. Cropping. Pity the left most crane is cropped. If it was all there, it might be more balanced. fry cloning it out (leave just 1 crane?)

Sorry if I sound harsh as it has a lot of potential.

    Merv.

    Hi Merv,

Thanks for the critique. Admitattley, not what I was expecting, but I'm never one to turn down the chance to improve my pics. I personally like the focal difference between the building and the cranes.. for me it gives a good perception of depth.

thanks again for the pointers :)
