New Digital Camera advice

    Ok,
My mum got me a digital camera for Xmas - a Fuji A600 i think.
I didnt ask for a digital camera but she got me one anyway.
It takes 2 AA batteries but from little i do know about cameras i was always told i was better off with a camera with a lithium battery - as it is cheaper in the longrun and just better.

So my options are to get my mum to take it back ?

Or should i get a set of rechargeable batteries and have 4 batteries on the go so i have 2 back ups ?

I wont be using the digital camera much - apart from if i go away or else out with all the mates on a session.

I looked at the Argos catalogue and they even have 4 rechargeable batteries and a charger at all different prices depending on what type of batteries.

Any advice on all of the above greatly appreicated!

I'd keep the camera. AA's are much handier as you can buy replacements anywhere.
