Canon 135mm F2

Anyone on this forum use this lens consideing getting one for some candid work? I'm particulary interested in how it performs wide open, according to alot of other forms its suppoed to be stellar, just wanted to get a hands approach if anyone has used it here.

Just got one last week and brought it over to a mates house to take some baby/family shots. Unfortunately a howling mob of visiting children descended on us so I ran like hell to the pub.
Give me a week and hopefully I'll be in a better position to let you know.

I was offered one in Conns before Christmas 2nd hand for €700. Looks like a good lens maybe a bit long for indoor work. I have a 50mm f1.8 and an 85mm f1.8 for indoor and portrait work, both of these are excellent wide open especially the 85mm. Stunning is the only way to describe it. Including wide open. Just watch the DOF as focusing on the nose will not keep the eyes sharp!
