Been looking around and can't find any info on when it was released, I see 1gb was May this year and 2gb was meant to be in the first half of this year.

Does the k800 take memory stick duo cards as per the k750i. I'm trying to get a 2 gig one for my k750i.

no they take the smaller memory card m2.

They only MIGHT work. A lot of them fail and best of luck trying to get a refund.

I certainly wouldn't be storing personal photos on them...

I got 1GB Sony M2 card for my Sony Erricson k800i mobile phone from http://www.mx2.co.uk for around 40Euro. They also gave two adapters to use it for digital cameras, etc.

Delivery took around 6 days (4 working days), which is good I think.

M2 2 gig isn't due out until around March/April this year. The Pro Duo (for K750i etc) goes up to 4 gig (so far!)
