Ok, i have a pc which has esatbt broadband. I have went out and bought a wireless router. I am trying to set the router up so i can use the laptop anywhere in the house without connections. This isnt working for me. I must be doing something wrong. Do i forget about the computer and just use the router, the bt modem and new laptop and try and set it up, or does the old computer come into it somewhere???

And what problem are you having? Can you detect the wireless network? Can you detect but can't connect? Can you connect but can't get internet?

Give as much info as possible. Tell us what computers u have, what OS they run, how have you connected modem to router and pc's to router etc. The more info you give the better.

You need to put the ZyXel modem in bridge mode and set your PPPoE username and password on your new wireless router. That should do it..
