Stuck Pixel - Advice

I got a Canon Ixus 850 for xmas, bought off pixmania a few weeks ago, and i have discovered that the CCD has a Stuck/Hot Pixel, which can be seen in a phot where the area around it it black. The lcd also has a couple, 1 that is always noticable and about 10 more which can be seen when looking at an angle.

What can i do about this? Is it perfectly normal to have stuck pixels on the CCD and LCD? Is there any point in looking for a replacement as i could just end up with worse?

It shouldn't happen, but it does. I'm not sure how the warranty would cover it, but since you can't change lenses, the senor problem can't really have been your fault. I say bring it back. You won't end up with something worse. In the mean time, get used to the heal and cloning features in photoshop ;)
