I have just bought a HD cable which allows me to connect my xbox 360 to a flat panel monitor . This has drastically improved the quality of the graphics . Which is great !

One problem though i now have no sound , the flat panel has no speakers ...

I have 5.1 channel speakers in the same room which i use for this PC . They are inspire T5400 speakers by creative .

There are two cables coming for sound from the xbox , one white and one red , but where do i connect them to ? There is no equivelant ports on my speaker system ?

The speaker system also does not have an spdif port so i cant use that option .. Is there a device i can buy which will convert spdif into the same output from my 5.1 sound card on the back of my PC .

There is a small adapter tha comes with the VGA cable you bought that will convert the two red and white leads into a single mini jack, you can then plug this into any speakers or radios ect. that allow such an input.
