    ah my retainer (accidently!) got thrown in the bin today and i so worried :(
    does anyone know what the story is with not wearing a retainer for a couple of days???i just got my braces on the bottom off a week ago and so was wearing a retainer full time...obviously i wont be able to get an appointment until AT LEAST tuesday which is 4 whole days without it on...im scared my teeth will go back the way they were(which,tbh wasnt that bad but still!!)

    am i completely over-reacting...(please say yes!) :eek:

    Ballerina....hi...sorry to hear about your lost retainer. It is important to wear this espically immediatly after the braces come off....I have seen some teeth move very quickly without retention. However you are unlikely to be able to get a new one this time of year...so relax have a nice christmas....ring your orthodontist and see can he/she fit you in ASAP and expect to have to pay for a new retainer.
