Interested in making video montages

    Hi,
    I want to have a go at making video montages akin to those that'd be shown as visuals alongside a DJ set or a club night. Just a mix of overlapping images being repeated and given a certain rythm etc.

    Can anyone tell me how I would go about doing this? What would be a good programme to use?

    Just looking to be pointed in the right direction as I know next to nothing about video editing.
