What's all this I hear about London Welsh wanting to join the Magner's League? http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,377-2515140,00.html. Why don't they join the GP? Oh wait, they're not good enough. The very fact that they're arrogant and ignorant enough to think they're good enough to compete in a league which far outweighs - in terms of talent and competitiveness - the one they can't even make it into in their own country (ENGLAND) shows they don't belong.

I dont know, they have said they will fund themselves for the first few seasons, maybe it might be worth having them in for a few season on a trial basis, it could be interesting having a mangers team in London

Yeah, but look at the increased revenue they are set to receive. And why? Because they unfairly swap leagues. The real problem I have is their attitude: it's as if they feel their league is on a par with the Magner's. I'm sorry, but behind the super 14, the ML is the most competitive going.

I read somewhere that LW believe that a London based club would help attract sponsors to the league. Last year that arguement may have held water, but not now. Besides they're still only one club.

The whole concept is bull****. Leave the league as it currently stands. I can't see any logic in extending the season in a World Cup year anyway.
