Media Center to mobile device addon

    I know this came up in a thread a while back, but I can't for the life of me remember who posted it (or where for that matter).

    Anyway, here's an add-in for Media Center that converts recordings to a mobile format and copies the recordings onto a memory card. You then pop the memory card into your device and you have video on the move.

    Interesting concept, but the general feedback on the company who makes the add on isn't too good.

    Well nice idea if poor execution, I would imagine they are probably ripping off someone else's work as well e.g open source encoders ( & inspecting the demo file contents they indeed are ffdshow & TCPMP are present plus god knows what else).

    You can take DVR-MS which is just MPEG-2 + metadata for MCE and convert into anything of course the manual method is what will turn most people off.
