Ok so - is the jackpot guaranteed tonight? Heading back to the sticks but i might let the traffic calm down a bit first ;)

Its gonna be the jackpot for the tournie or the Sporting Acquarium for some cash play.

No guarantee on a Friday Noel as far as I know. It's a good structure but the numbers could well be low.

What about the Fitz, is the Scalp game on?

I think Cash Game is the way to go tonight...the JPot was nuts last night...4 full tables of HE and about another 10 donators waiting...and the PLO was full too which is strange but great value

Is this not a really badly structured tournament?

The Fitz scalps is a complete waste of €110. Rubbish structure. With the jackpot double chance on these days (delivering 10,000 chips and 30 min blinds) I vow not to play it again.

There is an extra rebuy in the Fitz tonight so there should be more chips in play with a bigger prizepool, so I will be playing. I agree though in general that the structure is bad on a Friday night.

i played this tonight, i found the structure to be absolutely fine, it made for a really good tournament. t81 runners he final 3 players had huge stacks compared to the blinds. there were c620,000 chips in play when i deal was done by final three blinds at 5K-10K which i thought was very reasonable.
made for a good nights poker, if i just could just keep my head of these days:rolleyes: out in 14th...
