Problems Streaming WMV files to xbox 360

    I've had problems trying to stream WMV files to my xbox 360. The files would stream with no problems for about 15 seconds then the picture would go fuzzy or stop! I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the router. I heard that you should be using 802.11a/g standard router or something. I'm able to stream music with no problems. Any ideas :confused: I'm not sure if I should upgrade to a new router now :confused:

    Sounds like your wireless connection cant handle the amount of data that video takes up.

    Connect it with a network cable and you'll get around this no problem.

    If you don't want wires, then you have to buy a new router, one which has "Pre-N" or "draft-N". I haven't seen many reviews about it, so it may not work as advertised.

    Finally, there is the option of "Home Plug" products, which allow you to set up a network over your houses power cables. Look for one with at least 85mbps speed, otherwise you'll run into the same problem all over again. Again, I haven't seen many reviews about it, so it may not work as advertised.
