Is car rental an option for you? The drive to Toulouse is pretty handy and rates were good when I was there. Failing that I would say train is prolly a good bet.

no unfortunatley car rental wont be an option.

do you have any idea if the train station is far from the airport in carcassonne?

The train takes about an hour and should only cost about €40 return.
The train station is 2 miles from the airport, there are shuttles and taxis.

When I fly with Aer Lingus they don't count laptops as hand luggage which allows you to get on the place with both an overnight bag and a laptop.

Does anyone know if Ryanair work with the same policy?

Tomorrow will I be able to check in 1 bag and get on the place with another plus my laptop ?
