A few days ago I decided I'd try this out and see how much I could make playing STT. I wasn't sure how much I was going to start with, but then I found €59 that was given to me on rakeback in my FT account and decided I'd use that.

Approx 40 STT's in my ROI is 39.29% and my finishes in the money is 47.62% - this is based on 9 person tables - mostly at €10, €20, €30 level.

    My questions are these:

What ideally should these percentages be at? What other stats should I be looking out for in poker tracker and what should I be keeping them at.

I know it's to early for these stats to mean anything - but all the same it's nice to have a target.

(I've also decided to keep track of the times I get sucked out on vs the times I suckout - currently 6.5 to 1.

Hows things Ricky,Roi is a funny beast, when i was doing that challenge my roi for the first 600 games was 34% which is huge but after 2200 it was 14%, I read on 2+2 that if you can hit 20% over a decent sample size the your basically a pro at these. I'd day anything in double figures is very good for roi and over 33% itm

Try this recent thread, a few people gave their roi's and ITM stats although most were small samples. Theres a few others from recent weeks also if you want to search

from previous posts i noticed that 30%+ ROI is not that uncommon at $10 level but at $20+ its not sustainable and your more likely to see 20% or less

ROI's for SNG's seem a very common question lately, having a sticky on it might be an idea. If i get time ill search through a few posts and stick them into 1 post and people can add to it if they like. If theres enough for it to be worthwhile it could be stickied

    Chopper,

I found ammending the standard 2plus2 SnG spreadsheet to include the following info helped my progress:

    1. Hand number exited on.
    2. Bad Beat Y/N?
    3. Hand exited on, eg: AQo AI pf.
    4. No. of BBs remaining.

there was a post on two plus two where someone ran short term results through a monte carlo simulator to give the probability of your long term ROI. and i cant find it now. will try later.
