I've only ever had a wallet once....lost it the following week. Along with the following:

ATM, Visa, Driving Licence, Video, Gym, Tesco, HomeBase Cards
Money
Soveniers
Ace of spades playing card.

So my question is do you carry a wallet?

Timely question as I just replaced my wallet of 7-years last week....

Currently have: money(!), old USIT card, Unlimited Cinéworld pass, electronic fob for appartment, swipe card for work, ID/swipe card for head office, annual CIE card, laser card, LUAS travel card, and a house key.

Thats true of many smart people, and its actually quite funny how some of the smartest people have little knowledge of other things. While discussing weapons in 6th class i remember we where saying how a bullet from a revolver fires at a bullet at a slightly slower speed than a bullet from a standerd pistol with a clip and that smart guy said "whats the point in that could you not just jump out of the way" i guess you had to be there but it was very very funny

Wow this is why I dont understand people who carry around wallets!! If you were to lose this wallet you would lose all your ID's and cards were as if you did not carry around a wallet the most you would probably lose would be cash and your ATM card.....

So why do people carry around wallets known that if they lose them they will lose every single card they have?

Usually wake up to lots of weird food in the fridge, only the receipts show me that I bought it, my old housemate was the same, its the curse of 24hr supermarkets, stuff was all going mouldy in the fridge, nobody knew it was theirs and presumed it was the other persons.

Well when I know where my bank card is (ie. in my wallet) then I never lose it cos I know that its place is in my wallet. Whereas if I didn't have a wallet for it than it could be left anywhere and therefore increasing the chances of me losing it or misplacing it.

I have a bad history with wallets. I've had them stolen on buses, eaten by my dog etc. (Yes, the dog thing IS true.)

I keep everything in my wallet unless I'm going out, then I have a massive clearout and either bring Laser or Credit Card with me, along with the cash, just in case. Last thing I need is no access to money if something happens.

It has a BoI card in it, AIB card in it, Credit Card, Commonwealth (Australian) Bank Card, card from a strip club in Tijuana, card from The Ashley Hotel Cork (70s pr0ntastic rooms), an old DART ticket - return clontarf to landsdowne, a red-line Luas ticket from yesterday, a card from Fitzgeralds Hotel and Casino in las Vegas.

Some rubbish I could get rid of.

I lost a wallet during the summer, I think it was the night I finished the leaving. Luckily, there was no money in it, and I didn't notice it was missing until a week later when I got a call from Raheny Garda station (I live nowhere near Raheny) telling me my Garda I.D. was handed in. The wallet itself must have been found, and the lovely, charitable person that found it handed in the I.D. and nothing else.

Now I have a nice new Leather wallet that my parents bought me in spain, containing my Garda I.D., AIB card, Student travelcard, college I.D., €35, my brother's business card, a free day pass to a gym (good luck), an emergency plectrum, a fake lipring I wore to a halloween party (I was an emo) a pipe cleaner (no idea why), an emergency plectrum and a burger king voucher (balls, just realised it's expired)
