Watched this movie yet again recently. It's found its way to my top ten list. Utterly amazing stuff. I'm eagerly awaiting the next two.

What are your opinions? Which is your favorite story from it? Mine would be either "The Customer is always right" or "The Big Fat Kill"

Stylistically Sin City was brilliant, storywise it was average.

Micky Rourke's story was fantastic, and Clive Owen's character was brilliant, so it's between those two

Its hard to criticize the story considering it stuck very faithfully to to the source material.

Any word yet on when the Special Edition will be out with the "cooking with Robert Rodriguez" section? Or will it ever make its way to PAL?

I really like the cameos, like Wood as crazed killer

Agree. At first it just seemed total style to me but after watching it again, I saw new depths in this film. Absolutely prefer Dwight's story, just because his character is crazy (as opposed to Rourke who only thought he was crazy).

Wasn't too fond of The Big Fat Kill and That Yellow Bastard in comic form so as they stuck so faithfully to the source material I was quite disappointed.

TBH, by being so faithful to the comics I found the movie to be a bit of a waste of time. Why bother watch the film when the comics are so similar and IMO better?

Rather than waiting for a UK/Ireland release, I'd recommend just getting the Swedish version.

    You're welcome!

The version above only has the piracy message in Swedish and optional Swedish subtitles. Everything else is in English.

There's also this Australian version which costs an extra £1 and works on Region 2 players.

A completely over-hyped piece of repugnant garbage

The only good Sin City is the tune of that name by the Flying Burrito Brothers
