[Request] Where to Buy Pine Beds

    Hi All,

I’m looking to buy two high quality pine double beds (possibly kingsize) with accompanying high quality mattresses, but want to avoid Rip Off Republic prices. Can anyone out there recommend a trader in the North, an Ebay trader or even a trader in the Republic, (or anyone else), that would allow me to do this. Details of why you recommend that trader will also be welcome.

(Is it true, Navan is the place to go for furniture???)

    Thanks in Advance.

Firstly, wait til afetr xmas for the sales.

Personnally I'd reccommend Michael Murphy's in Newbridge & New Ross. Always good value and decent staff.

Pine beds willl almost certainly be chinese made, so not worth the trip to Navan. Navan is capital of Irish made furniture.

Another place to try for value is Famous Furniture on Lonmile road - former Compustore premises (over looks Naas Rd - entrabce on longmile rd.) - they do over runs & previous season stuff from House of Fraser M&S etc - good value.

I acted on the above comment and went to Famous Furniture (www.famousfurniture.ie) . They were having a clearance sale when I went and I bought 2 solid oak kingsize beds for €550 and €450 respectively. Please note these prices were exceptional due to the clearence sale. However, the store in general seems to constantly offer very good value for money.

My thanks to Mcaul for the tip off.
