I was around Dunnes today and see they're 2 boxes of Stella Artois (20 bottles? maybe 15) for 30 quid, saving a tenner. Anybody seen any better offers? I'm mainly looking for lager offers...

Dunnes have been doing their 25% off (in value club points) thing on recent weekends.
If I recall correctly, they did it for wine and champagne, then spirits, then wine and champage again.
Was expecting beer last weekend - but nothing :(
Wish they'd offer the reduction they have on slabs of draught Guinness on the Extra Stout (I must be turning into an oul' fella! :D ) but I suspect that's down to Diageo. With all the marketing push behind draught cans it's a shame the 'real' Guinness is ignored!

There were great offers in Dunnes and some other places this time last year with boxes of Warsteiner, but there's not a sign of that anywhere this year. Actually neither my local Dunnes or Molloys even stocks Warsteiner at the moment. I think the Irish drank them dry!

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

The slabs of extra stout should be €39.90 which is not miles off the draught price.

Bottles of Warsteiner (33cl) are €1 in Mchughs.

    Where?
Both my local Dunnes and Molloys do the Extra Stout cans for 1.99 each but no slab price. They're not slabs as such, just four groups of 6 cans sitting on a cardboard tray, not shrinkwrapped.

This may or may not be any help to you, but a few places locally are selling pint bottles of extra stout for €1.99. Some places still give a refund too.
So it both works out cheaper, and makes you feel more like an oul' fella!

Was in Dunnes yesterday and they had 24 * 330ml Stella for 17.90
    Which seems a good price
