    Hi Guys . .

Looking for advice, Have recently upgraded to SKY + with Multiroom and now I want to connect my SKY to a third room. At the moment I am using a Videosender but the quality is variable. I heard there was a hardwired solution specific to SKY ? Can anyone advice where I can get this and how much it should cost me to get it installed ?

    Thanks,

    . .HJ

You just run a cable from RF2 and use TV tuner. A "sky Eye" on the cable is an option for remote.
    Compared to Video sender:
Quality poorer due to Modulator / Tuner
    No Stereo.

Try an extension cable on either the TX or RX part of your Video Sender, these actually give much better picture and higher quality stereo sound when adjusted well.

You can also get an RGB SACRT adaptor for CAT5 cable (The 4 pair twisted cable used for computers and very cheap). A Pyramid or other RF IR adaptor would be needed. Some CAT solutions have a IR return channel.

Almost everywhere that sells TVs sells the Sky eye.

Thanks Watty . . Appreciate the response but am not so technical in this area so not sure I really understand.

Are you saying that the Videosender is a better option or that I should run a cable from the RF2 port . . ?

Can anyone recommend someone to install this for me ?

    YEs. I said both...
The cable from RF2 port if you can't fix up the inherently better video sender.
Additional receivers (any model/brand will work with existing TX and vice versa, up to 4 channels)
