    Hi,

I have a packard bell laptop which is about 2 years old. Whenever i play mp3's or films or anything with sound, it works ok for bout 10-20 mins and then the sound just stops. has anyone experienced this before with a packard bell laptop?

Did this just start happening recently? Try updating to the latest drivers.

Check your power settings - you may have it going into standby or something after 10-20 mins. Also check screen saver settings.
