Well, as close to a 'Return to Castle Wolfenstein' movie as we're going to get.

Germany, 1945 - German scientists deep within a fortified castle create a genetically modified super soldier in the hopes of turning the tide of war back in their favour. Things, naturally, don't go to plan and the doomtrooper, armed with a minigun, turns on it's own German forces and the allied team dispatched to destroy it.

Some nice locations, uniforms and weapons are quite good, a few historical inaccuracies regarding German tanks but nothing serious. The CGI unfortunately, being a home grown Sci-fi original, is quite terrible and the acting not much better. But still, slightly enjoyable, if only for the interesting theme of the movie and the inspiration drawn from 'Return to Castle Wolfenstein'.

Funniest thing is, the best battle scenes of the movie are those that don't feature the Doomtrooper, visually quite well done.

    Worth a look, I say.
