Munich Nightlife?

    I'm goint to Munich for 4 days in January with a group of 30ish students. i've been there a few times but i cant really remember much detail about the nightlife/club scene :o

    I was wondering if anyone could suggest any unmissable clubs/pubs/venues (besides the obvious beerhalls, Hofbräuhau etc) - places that would appeal to a student crowd (ie: cheap and rowdy).

    also any insider info on any random stuff i sould go to entertainment wise, much of a youth/student scene>?

    in short, give me any and all info on partying in München! :D

    from what i can remember its been a few years, kunstpark is an area with loads of different bars/clubs, used to be mental- take S-bahn to Ostbahnhof. Also Munchener Freiheit/Schwabing has lively bars with studenty crowd- take u-bahn to station with same name
