What do you think of these?

They throw in a 2x teleconverter but the lens
is already f16 as it is!
    Conbine that with the teleconverter...f22?

Would it be worth it for the odd moon shot etc or
    are they just junk?

I used one before and they are HUGE!:)

I'm trying to find an image on flickr but it is difficult
as the lens doesn't really have a name!

Basically this is how big it is....

Thats a cheap price for what you can get.

Mind you, judging by its size, you could end up spending more time putting the thing together than taking (& maybe losing the subject) the shot.

you could use it to stare directly into the sun it was so dark!:D
produced dull, boring, soft images and the zoom felt very loose and imprecise
    junk basically

I dont think I could fit it into my camera bag anyway.

Maybe a 2x teleconverter would just do instead.
    Thanks Valentia for the clarification.

Many people suggest that buying a normal telescope is
much better than buying the lens i have been speaking
    about.

    Punchdrunk, danke for your help.

By the looks of the pic above, you wouldn't be able to fit it in the car either!! :D

    lol
    no probably not.

Although since I dont have a car I would have
to bring that beast onto the bus.

I can just imagine the faces of the skangers.:)

If it were cheap, I'd say yes, as a lens so rediculously big must be by definition fun to play with, even if it's impractical.

Maybe if i have 200euro to blow during the
    summer i might get one.

I can always send it back if i get a soft copy.:p
