Hi all - can anybody help

When I play any DVD on my PC the volume level is really low and although I have turned speakers up all the way and checked the settings in control panel and on the DVD player I use but still no good. When I play a .mp3 or .ogg or.avi file the volume is perfect (i.e. very loud when speakers are turned up all the way)

Do I maybe need a new sound card? Very annoying cos i like my expliosions loud! :)

    any ideas would be great

    Thanks

What software are you using? I found that problem also quite annoying but the commercial apps like power dvd or windvd I have found have audio options which you can change profile to loader, more clear sound, think its in audio options in power dvd and a audio control panel thingy in windvd iirc, I always watch dvds on the TV now though :)

    Regards

    Nick
