    Hi,
I was in Smyths today buying a nunchuck and I asked them what the story is with their Wiis. He said that today (Friday) was the last day they were keeping prebooks behind the counter. So starting from Sat morning any Wiis that havent been collected are going back out on the shelf. I was there around 5pm and he said there were around 10 units unclaimed. Now these could easily have been picked up after I had left, but I'm just posting up here anyway just in case someone gets lucky.

    Regards

You were right, but by the time I got there there were none left. One guy slept there all night to get one.

when i got there, there was was a queue of people outside i think i was the third in the queue. the two ahead of me were seeing people coming out with wii's and thought ahh ****e we missed it. the doors were closed at this stage. they left the queue and the software zone guy came down and said we've only two left so me and some other person got it.

was fairly annoyed they didn't have zelda but ahh sure i just went around the corner and bought it in gamestop.

the software zone guy was warning us to go straight home aswell as he heard people were getting beaten up for wii's in dublin. whether or not there's any truth to the story you'd have to be very very very sad to beat someone up for a console.

well there's enough people gettin beaten up for money/mobile phones (and for no reason a all) so wouldn't suprise me.

I can imagine it though. Scumbaggy kid whines all day he wants one, scumbaggy parent has no problem beating up a "norm" to get it.
