The fb4 footswitch for my pod has started on a mind of its own lately , the first two switches seem to give a random patch and not the one from the bank im in.

other times they will do nothing at all and other times they work fine , any thoughts???

its a few years old now maybe just some dodgy soldering?

I'd place my money on dirty contacts. You could probably open it up, and spray some contact cleaner on there yourself.

Id say its a cable problem, the strands of cable for the footswitch may have gotten broken if it was kinked/stood on etc. Either that or a connector, Is it just a CAT5 cable they use?
