FAO thomann customers *bad news*

    Bad news guys, just rang the thomann international helpline, it seems they have a weeks backlog of orders so unless you ordered your xmas stuff early last week then you probably wont be getting it before xmas. All of my items are in stock but he told me that DHL are having problems with the volume of shipments so mine aint shipped yet. Although he offered me the two cheapest items in my order free of charge before xmas if i dont get the order before the 25th! (€30 worth). Oh he also said: "If you do praying and be a very good boy you may be in lucky, i do not work magic but i will try do do my best effort to get your things dispatched in DHL by Monday".... I laughed.

    I oredered last Sunday,item came back into stock on Tuesday or thereabouts. How come I haven't received a delivery confirmation yet?

    They dont send email delivery confirmations in my experience, did you put in your moblie number?? Maybe they got my stuff shipped out on priority coz i rang yer man

    For anyone interested, go to the thomann main page, click customer centre and sign in, it'll tell you if your order is open or closed (shipped)

    mines closed as of last monday the 11th So hopefully with a bit of luck it'll be here on the upcoming week, I was just wondering if theres a way of tracking the no. you get...

    dont u hate it when u order stuff then a week alter u want to get something else/ forget something

    Hmmm... I ordered a board, 2 pedals and a nut on the 8th, the nut was out of stock, and one of the pedals was on short ordering time (2-5 days). I just checked the order status, they're all in stock now, but it says:

    status: Not yet processed - Order will soon be commissioned and shipped.

    Should I email the guy it says is in charge of it and ask him to hurry things along? I left a note in the comments thing saying I needed the stuff by Christmas when I was ordering it.

    i got 2 codes for dhl inm y email today, lm in work at 2 tomorrow so il try n sort it out before then, they stop on the 23rd or something dhl that is, so hopefully tomorrow somethin can happen might even be able to pick up...

    lets hope so

    If its shipped by UPS like my order then dont hold your breath, got a tracking code today and apparently: "Due for delivery 21st, customer rescheduled delivery date, shipping date TBC awaiting customer confirmation of delivery date" Load of bollix that is, lazy truck driver doesnt wanna venture down in the sticks so close to christmas, they must be paid per delivery. They can expect a very angry call at 8.00am tomorrow morning

    i emailed them about my order yesterday with no reply.

    with 2weeks wages invested in that stuff, and advertised as shipping in one day, and no reply, i'm pissed, and i doubt i'll order from there again.

    Freak, I wouldn't worry too much about a week or two difference. My keyboard took 5 months to get here thanks to UPS, who lost the keyboard on the way over. Had to have a different model sent as a replacement because the newer model I paid for was no longer in stock and that includes waiting in their collections depot for half an hour with a taxi driver running the meter. Their delivery crew had it on their system that I was supposed to pay for it a second time despite me triple-checking with their accounts department that everything was sorted. A very unorganized setup altogether.

    Christmas or not, Thomann are generally poor. I only use them if I really have to, too many bad experiences.

    my only 2 experiences with them have been good, apart from dhl not deliviering it! but its been aok really

    I can see why everyone uses thomann so often now. Sent in my order last friday about 5, got a text and email to say it was dispatched about half 4 monday and arrived when i was at work yesterday evening. Santa decided to come early:D

    Yup got my Spector from them 3 days after ordering it, I have never had any bad experience with Thomann. Pics and such of the bass will come soon :D
