Gears of War Sells 2 Million

    Microsoft just issued a press release saying that gears of war is
    the fastest selling xbox game in history.

    Is this right?

    didnt halo2 sell much faster?

    Think Halo 2 is alright, on another unrelated note, looking at the jap chart, tis nice to see Blue Dragon go to number 3 in the Jap games, MS are really trying to make an effort with the RPGs over there....

    yeah thats what i thought, maybe it was an error made by microsoft on the press release, or maybe it was done on purpose to build up the title, as if that was even needed

    came out (2004) the xbox had been around for over 2 years. Hence, there was a considerable installed consumer base.

    GOW comes out a year after the 360 was released. Numbers will obviously be less.

    Still, 2 million ain't half bad!

    finally beat Raam today, at the n'th time of asking! Took me f00kin ages, as I was doing it all wrong. After failing 20+ times I consulted teh interweb and then after reading gamefaqs.com I got him the next next time!

    Maybe it's just me, but I've had much more fun with RB6 and COD3, but then again I never liked Halo either
