Alright old timers here is your chance to take trip down memory lane and impress the rest of the neophytes with your tales of gigs and gig venues long since gone.

What nights are permanently etched in your brain?

Just went to see George Michael and he was pretty impressive and will stay in my mind for a long, long time.

The KISSreunion tour (1996) and "Psycho Circus Tour" (1999) were great as well.

Regarding long gone stuff and venues I guess gigs like Barclay James Harvest (1990) or Extreme and Prince (1987 & 1988) spring to mind.

Or even Spandau Ballet in 1990.

By the way, you can read my full gig reports on www.concert-reviews.net - just a fan page of mine but quite interesting, I think.

I went to see Inspiral Carpets last year for their re-union tour. What a night that was. Brought all the memories of the late 80's early 90's flooding back. I even bought myself a 'moo' t-shirt like I had back in the day.. Truly I am an old fart trying to hang on to my youth..

Therapy? in the GPO, Galway 1998. I was nearly crushed to death 3 songs in. Still fantastic though. Queens of the stone Age in the <snip> (possibly the best venue for a gig) 2001. Beastie boys in galway (big day out) 1997 :D

Semple Stadium for Feile '91. My first concert. Can't remember who played, my main memory is getting all the free cans of coke and fanta in production.
I was only 11, too young to take the free beer :D
