Itunes to recognise mp3s

    hi

    ive added aload of mp3 to my itunes folder but i cant see them in itunes.

    does anyone know how i import?

    You need to drag them into the iTunes window, this makes iTunes either import the songs or simply record a reference to the location of the file.

    If you're importing from Audio CDs stop playback while importing to speed up the import speed.

    im having a problem though

    i have imported alot of mp3s that i used another program to rip

    itunes plays the first few correctly but then starts to play them at a x2 speed...
    has anyone come across this ?
