I bet a bit more on flop, a bit more on the turn and I would instacall his raise.

the bet on the flop was slightly intended to inducse a re-raise.
    Turn bet prob was weak.

    More on turn.
Although, could be ok as stands...
If he has a hnad that is beating two queens from the flop or turn, you won't get him off it.

right, i called and he flipped over 22.
i was just wondering if i could have layed it down?
    or is this unlucky?

to add insult the river was a queen. :(

You would normally have been unlucky but in this case he was giving away he had a hand, well which was stupid. I think you could have laid it down but either decision could have been acceptable in these circumstances.
He did what I do. Say something about nearling having a flush, when he in fact has a different hand, but a hand nonetheless, like trips. If the last card had been the one to make the imaginary flush, he would have gone all in, and if you thought he was bluffing he still would have had you.
It's kkindof a dodgy thing, you need to see how they have done it before to know what they are doing, or have a hope to.
Another thing like this I may do, say there are two hearts out, and two spades, I have two spades in my hand but claim to have two hearts in a feigned accidental way, or some other way. If a spade comes up they definitely don't think I have that flush...

Villian played the hand quite well. His calling the pre-flop raise was questionable, but you made it quite cheap for him.
His flat call on the turn was a good play.
V difficult for you to get away from that.
If you bet more on the flop and he calls then you can possibly get away from it.
However in terms of stack sizes etc and the way you described him as a player I wouldnt beat yourself up too much.
If he calls medium sized raises from the BB with 22 on a regular basis it is unlikely that our villan is a winning palyers

I don't see anything wrong with Villain's preflop call.

I think hero played the hand fine and it's a call against this villain. Against a stronger villain I might check the turn.

There's no hand that pushes that turn that AQ can beat except a bluff. Especially when you have commited a large % of your stack and seem to like your hand.

Sorry. Yes. Agreed. Had it in my head somehow that we had got to the river.

You serious? This is a low limit sng on tribecca. Any pair could be pushing the turn. I would be delighted to get it in here with AQ. Esp against a loose villain.

Very unlucky cardshark, you done nothing majorly wrong in my eyes.

I would have made it a 4x preflop raise, then bet 600+ on the flop, but if he calls preflop, it doesn't matter how the betting goes, the money is all going into the middle.

Just one of those unfortunate incidents that turn into a car crash, I would have been delighted raising up AQs and seeing a Q hi rainbow flop and getting my money in on the turn.

I didn't notice anywhere in the OP where it stated it was a low limit SnG.

    Not that it really matters.

In general, no hand pushes that turn that AQ can beat bar a bluff.

He's raised UTG, He's bet the flop and the turn. he's commited a large % of his stack what hand is going to shove the turn? JJ? 10 10? QJ KQ?

Maybe I'm giving the villian to much credit.

Yes you're giving villain far far far far too much credit.
