    Just heard this from a friend who works there - Bupa are leaving Ireland and all its staff are to be let go.

    Well done to the Government on this one.

    Its a joke to say if one company is not doing as well as another one due to its demograhics etc then half the companies in this country would be out of business.

    How many employees will now lose their jobs. How many extra staff will VHI need I wonder to cope with the excess demand. :rolleyes:

    You didnt hear VHI complaining when they where swimming in cash.

    well done on presiding over another fine mess in the health service.
    Seemingly VHI is to be floated in the next few years, so
    why not remove the competition so the fat cats can further
    fill their pockets on the flotation.
    Don't mind the consumer.

    But remember the consumers are the electorate,
    roll on next May. :D
