keep losing add channels

    hi all
    Still problems with my new(ish) box. Since setting up box I have added in extras channels (UTV, ITV 2, etc) twice now and they keep getting lost any ideas??? the first time they lasted around 2 weeks, never had this problem before!!!!

    I have the same problem , with my Pace box.
    It happens everytime I use the interactive button or text on BBC.
    Think it is a software fault on certain boxes don't think it is on every box.

    Very annoying but I now know the frequencys for all the ITV's and BBC3/4 by heart.

    Have the same problem. Its an issue with most PACE DS-430N boxes (but not all)
    If you store just 3 other channels they wont be deleted, store any more though and you will loose them.
    Its a pain.

    varies according to model, number of channels (up to 20 on some), software revisoion and use of personal planer is good for wiping them

    Happens to me also .. I can only keep 6 before it wipes when I use the interactive key!!! Rang Sky for the crack, guess what? didn't want to know, although they did acknowledge the issue ... which is even more frustrating ... yes we (Sky) know but don't care attitude ...

    Hmm, I wonder what the European Competition Authority might have to say about that.

    Sky included this feature in order not to get in trouble with Europe (like a German satellite broadcaster did), so if it isn't working properly, maybe you should let the European Competition Authority know and they might go after sky.

    Well it effectively has never worked for Sky+ as you can only record from EPG.
    It ought to be illegal. No-one has enough money & motivation to challange Sky's methods of CAM/Card, Recording and HD charges / supply, or overpriced EPG placement or overpriced Encryption.
