    well better than a 17-40 on a 350D I would say a 24-70 + 15mm on a 5D. The 17-40 was perfect for landscapes on the 350 but the distortion on the 5D was not my cup of tea at all. I thought it would have been the perfect lens on a full frame but it seems more designed for the cropped sensors. I thought long and hard before doing this...

    thanks everyone, as for the last one - thats the first time I have used a Sepia filter, i am generally not a huge fan but I think it works better here than plain black and white and it adds to the atmosphere.
