There is a scalps game in the Emporium that is very good value. €40+€5+€10 and one €40 rebuy or topup. Plays like a freezeout really. Very good structure and has been getting about 50 runners recently...

Is the Poker Events Game still running in Campions on Malahide Rd On wednesday nights? If so does it usually get many runners?

There is a game in the Submarine in Crumlin 50+10 freeze out, 5.5k chips with 20min blinds. Not a bad game at all, not a bingo event. Vegas Nights game.

Vegas nights have one in the White House on the old Ashbourne road aswell tonight, good numbers and not a bad tourny for 25+25. 20mins blinds up to the break and then 15 after that so a bit quick but standard is generally poor.

Move this to the Tourney sub forum maybe?

Yes the PokerEvents does run every Wednesday night. I'm not sure how many played tonight but will find out for you! I'm sure it will be above 20 though.

    Regards

Ventured up there, only 12 runners, but enjoyable all the same, standard was ok, although the guy that won it didn't fold a single hand in the last hour. He called everything and anything with everything and anything and hit most of the time. Complete luckbox.

WSOP!! Ha this lad wouldn't have had a clue what this was! Apparently he only learned how to play last week!

In a similar vein to a thread on the main board:

There was a real Mister Pot Odds there and was calling %'s etc on every hand, had the whole table against him, when he eventually went all-in he'd annoyed so many people that he got 4 callers and was duely out of the tournie, muttering something about implied odds and pot value as he left!
